What to Wear

The right outfit can enhance your confidence and ensure the focus remains on your face rather than distracting patterns or colors. Choose clothing that aligns with your industry or brand . Remember a headshot is your way of communicating to the world. Think about what message you want to send. Here are some general guidelines that work for any profession.

  • Wear clothing you feel confident in

  • A fitted blazer or structured top is always a great choice.

  • Solid colors work best and help keep the focus on your face. But if you want to add visual interest try layering your clothing.

  • For shirts/ blouses; V-necks, crewnecks and button downs open the neckline more.

  • Long sleeves or 3-quarter length sleeve tend to look the most polished.

  • Avoid busy prints, logos, or anything overly reflective.

  • Feel free to wear jewelry or accessories, but keep them minimal for a clean look.

  • Bring multiple wardrobe options. Or receive custom advice by sending a message with options you have in mind. I’m always happy to help.

I’m not sure how to pose, can you help?

Yes! The great thing about booking with me is that Im here to guide you. Many of my clients who book with me have little to no experience in front of the camera. I create an environment where you feel comfortable and confident. I offer guided posing and give clients the chance to see their photos as we go along.

How can I assure I get the best possible photos.

Come prepared by ensuring your clothing is free of wrinkles and carry grooming accessories for any touch ups. Adding an MUA or Hairstylist to your session is always an encouraged investment.

Can I upgrade later on?

Of course! If you’re indecisive and unsure of how many images you want, you have the opportunity to purchase more when you select your images for final editing. However, if you already have an idea of the number of images you want, it helps me when shooting.


How long until I receive my edits?

Please allow a 1-2 week turn around time following the date of the shoot for your images to be delivered.
